Muskoka Quilt Raffle Rules of Play
- All tickets will only be sold to people who are 18 years of age or older.
- Ticket purchasers must be in the province of Ontario at the time of purchase.
- Tickets will be available for purchase online at hospicemuskokaraffle.com and through staff and volunteers with access to Raffle Nexus system for this raffle.
- Tickets will be priced at $5 per ticket.
- Tickets will be sold using electronic raffle system supplied by Raffle Nexus.
- After buying tickets, patrons will receive a confirmation e-mail with their registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.
- Prizes on offer are:
Quilt - "Algonquin In the Fall" Size - 84 by 104 - Valued at $1250
Quilt - "Snowbirds Dream" Size - 82 by 82 - Valued at $750
Quilt - "Wonky Trees" Size - 62 by 78 - Valued at $500
Quilt - "Starburst" Size - 60 by 80 - Valued at $350
- The winning ticket numbers will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for the draw.
- The winner for the prize is responsible for collection or shipping of their prize.
- The proceeds will be split equally between Hospice Muskoka and South Muskoka Hospital Foundation.
- The draw will take place on June 3rd at 3.30pm.
- The winners will be emailed automatically and will also be announced on social media, the raffle website, and at The Muskoka Quilt Show 2023.
- The prize with the highest value will be drawn first and that ticket shall not be re-entered into the draw. The next draws will decrease in value.
- The winning ticket holder has 6 months in which to claim their prize from the date of the draw.
- In the event that no winner comes forward, the prize will be kept safe and held for 6 months. After that time, has elapsed the prize will be donated to Hospice Muskoka for use in Andy’s House, with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
- The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the raffle draw: Any member of staff or volunteer with access to the Raffle Nexus system for this raffle.
- Hospice Muskoka lottery tickets cannot be transferred or resold to another party.
